The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) is an innovative partnership that leads and inspires the world in achieving Universal Access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support.   Its vision is a world with Zero new HIV infections, Zero discrimination and Zero AIDS-related deaths.

The UNAIDS Caribbean Regional Support Team in Port of Spain is seeking a research assistant. Applicants should be university students pursuing a post-graduate Social Science or Economics degree (Masters level or higher) or recent graduates within the last year. Candidates should have a solid academic performance in addition to excellent research skills and experience.  Competence in the use of Powerpoint will be an asset.

The Research Assistant will be engaged in research and writing on issues concerning youth, sex, sexual orientation, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRH), SRH services and the financial sustainability of the Caribbean’s AIDS response.

The successful candidate will receive a small honorarium during the period of the assignment.
